Does the fact that Lizzie didn't meet Truman between Feb 1952 (her accession)and Jan 1953 (date he left office) make my original statement wrong?In a technical sense I suppose,so I'll give you that one.
One interesting fact too is only one US President has visited the Queen at Balmoral Castle. Further investigation is required.

No,she met Jimmy Carter.
The answer is LBJ. She was unable to travel to JFKs funeral because she was pregnant with Edward. Prince Philip went instead. LBJ wasn't much of a traveller and never met Queenie.
